End-of-the-Year/New Years

2015 was an exciting year for me.  This year I turned 21, purchased my first piece of furniture (my daybed), and in May I received my Associate’s Degree with Honors from GCC.  It may not seem like I accomplished much, but to me it is a lot.  Turning 21 is not a big deal, but it comes with its benefits.  I can now buy certain things (like lottery tickets) and gamble.  As a gift to myself, I decided to get myself a new, comfortable, bed.  I love it.  In addition, it is great to be able to say, “It is my bed, I paid for it myself.”  Even if I only say it to myself.  My biggest accomplishment of 2015 was getting my Associate’s Degree.  Despite stormy weather, it was the best day of the year, and my family was there to see me roll across the stage to receive my diploma.

With 2015 drawing to a close, I thought I would look back at my year and enjoy my best moments.  In addition to looking back, I also thought it would be a good idea to look towards my future and set goals for 2016.  My goals to complete in 2016 are:
                   1.      Go to the AMC Convention in Oklahoma.
                   2.      Get a new wheelchair.
                   3.      Get a lift for the car.
                   4.      Go to Adele, Demi Lovato or Carrie Underwood’s Phoenix concert.
Throughout the year, I may add things, but for now, these are my main goals
I wish everyone a happy and safe New Years.
